Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how EasyContent LLC ("EasyContent," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit easycontent.io, contact us, or use the EasyContent service. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our GDPR policy gives additional detail about our legal bases for processing, international transfers, and your rights, and forms part of this policy.

Content our customers put into the service

Organizations that use EasyContent decide what content goes into their accounts, which can include personal information. We process that content on their behalf under our Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement, and the organization's own privacy policy governs it. If your information appears in content an EasyContent customer manages, please contact that organization. The rest of this policy covers information we handle for our own purposes.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, company, and password when you create an account or are invited to one; billing contact details when you subscribe; and anything you send us through our contact form, email, support requests, or demo bookings. Card details are collected directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and never reach our servers.

Information collected automatically. When you use the website or service, we collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages and features used, referring pages, and error diagnostics, using server logs, cookies, and similar technologies. We treat this information as personal information when it can be linked to you.

Information from other sources. We collect business contact information, such as name, job title, employer, and business email, about people at organizations that may benefit from EasyContent, from public sources such as company websites and professional profiles.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, and support the service and your account;
  • process payments and send invoices and billing notices;
  • send service emails, such as notifications you have configured, security alerts, and changes to our terms;
  • respond to your questions and run product demos;
  • keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors;
  • understand how the website and service are used so we can improve them;
  • send product news and marketing, which you can opt out of at any time using the link in each message; and
  • comply with law and enforce our terms.

We do not use content in customer accounts to train AI models.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information only:

  • with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract, listed in our GDPR policy, including our hosting, email, payment, AI, error monitoring, analytics, affiliate tracking, and demo scheduling providers;
  • when the law requires it, such as to comply with a court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of EasyContent, our customers, or others;
  • in a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the acquiring party will be bound by the commitments in this policy for the information it receives; and
  • with your direction or consent, for example when you connect an integration such as WordPress, Figma, or Zapier.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the website and service, such as keeping you signed in; Google Analytics cookies to understand how the website and service are used; and a Rewardful cookie that lasts 180 days to credit referrals to members of our affiliate program. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Blocking analytics or affiliate cookies does not affect your use of the service; blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in. Our website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

International users

EasyContent is based in the United States, and we and most of our service providers process personal information there. Information we collect directly from you is processed under contractual data protection commitments from our service providers. Personal information in customer content that we process on our customers' behalf is transferred under our Data Processing Agreement, which incorporates the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See our GDPR policy for details.

Retention

You can delete your account at any time with the Delete account button in Account Settings. This permanently deletes the account and all of its data from the EasyContent service immediately, and cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first. Copies in our encrypted disaster-recovery backups are removed as those backups are overwritten, billing records are kept as tax and accounting law requires, and logs and diagnostic data held by us and our service providers expire on our and their retention periods, including those set out in our GDPR policy. Otherwise, we keep account information for as long as your account is active and then on the schedule in our Terms of Service and GDPR policy: 1 year after an unconverted trial ends and 1 year after the last billing period of a paid subscription, after which the account and its data are permanently deleted. We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can update your account information in the service at any time. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing, by emailing support@easycontent.io. Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, and the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information we hold and to receive it in a portable format. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and you may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf where the law allows.

Security

We protect personal information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, hashed passwords, and daily encrypted backups, as described on our Security and backups page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The website and service are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email or in the service before they take effect, and we will always show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.
