Getting Started with EasyAI
This feature is available on all plans.
Users with the "Use AI features" permission can use this feature.
EasyAI is a suite of AI tools that will help your team generate content from scratch or improve existing content. With EasyAI, you are in full control of the output. Let's see how to use EasyAI.

Generating a Content Item with EasyAI Writer
When generating a new content item using EasyAI, first you'll input the information that your new content item needs. EasyAI will then take this information and generate an outline. Once an outline is generated, you can review it. You can add, edit, or remove a certain part of the outline or instruct EasyAI to further refine its entirety. With this process, you have finer control over the output since you are more involved in the generation process.
Generating the Outline
The first phase is generating the outline of your content item. You will input various details about it, which EasyAI will use to generate an outline that will be used to write the final piece.
Open a project you want to work on and go to the Content page. Then, in the filters bar, find the "Write" button.

Click on it, and the EasyAI Writer modal will appear.

Provide the Title or Topic
Under the Title or topic field, input the title or the topic of the content item that you want to generate. EasyAI will use this as your content item's title.
Provide the Structure
Next, in the How should the content be structured? section, you have two choices.
Selecting Let AI determine the structure will use a custom structure to build your content item. EasyAI will make use of custom structure fields to build what it believes to be the optimal structure of your content item. You specify under the Custom instructions field the general structure you want for this content item. For example, you can ask it to use two paragraph fields for the main content and a plain text field for sources. Important note: content items using custom structure cannot be converted to a template-based structure.
Selecting Use existing template lets you select from one of the existing templates in the project to be used for the content item. EasyAI will try to make use of all the available fields from the selected template and fill them in with relevant information. If the selected template includes a files field, EasyAI will ignore it since it currently doesn't have the ability to upload assets or generate an image (image generation is currently under development).
Pro tip: In the template editor, you can fill in the EasyAI field guidelines to tell it how to generate or edit the content within a field.
Provide Custom Instructions
You can use Custom Instructions to provide detailed instructions on how you want the content item to be written, what fields to add or avoid (if using "let AI determine the structure"), etc. A good custom instruction will help EasyAI generate the content closer to what you have in mind and more aligned with your team's writing style and tone of voice.
You can save your custom instructions so you don't have to rewrite them every time you want to generate new content. Click the "Save" icon after writing down your custom instructions, then select where to save it.

Selecting Save to My Instructions will save the custom instruction to your "personal library". Only you can access it, and it is available to you no matter what project you're working on.
Selecting Save to Project makes the custom instruction tied to the current project and visible to every user with AI usage permissions assigned to that project. They will also be able to edit or delete it.
Custom instructions will override anything you've set in the other fields. For example, under advanced fields, if you select English as the output language and set the tone of voice to conversational, but in your custom instructions you told it to write in Portuguese with a sarcastic tone of voice, EasyAI will follow the latter.
Choose the Writing Model
Next, choose the model you want to use to write the content item. Right now, we offer a selection between Claude Opus and Sonnet models.
Claude Opus models produce the strongest writing quality, with more nuance, better structure, and a more polished tone. They run slower and use more credits per content item, which adds up if you create a lot of content or work under a tight budget. Opus fits long-form pieces, high-stakes content, and anything where the final quality carries the most weight.
Claude Sonnet models deliver output faster and use fewer credits, so they work well for high-volume content, quick drafts, and projects with limited credits. The writing quality is slightly lower than Opus, which may mean a bit more editing on your side, though many content items need no extra polish at all.
If you are unsure, try both models on the same content item and compare the results. This shows you whether the quality gap matters for your use case and whether the time and credit savings of Sonnet outweigh it.
Optional Advanced Fields
Expand the advanced fields section to further provide more information. The fields here are purely optional, but if you want finer control over the output, you can use these options to provide more details and information to EasyAI. Do note that custom instructions take precedence over these settings. For example, if you set English as the output language but you instructed EasyAI to write in Spanish under the custom instructions, it will produce a Spanish output.

- Focus Keywords (SEO) - supply a comma-separated list of keywords or terms that EasyAI will include or focus on.
- Target Word Count - set your desired approximate length for the article. Note that this is not 100% accurate, and the actual output may be up to 15% more or less than the target word count, so make sure to adjust your input accordingly.
- Tone of Voice - select your desired tone of voice. If the style you want isn't here, select auto and describe your desired tone of voice in the custom instructions.
- Intended Audience - define your target audience. You can select from the preset or add a custom target audience by choosing custom and inputting your custom audience.
- Output Language - select what language EasyAI will write in. If your language is not on the list, select auto and tell what language you want the content item to be in the custom instructions.
Review the parameters and options, and once you're ready, click Generate Outline.
Reviewing the Outline
After a few moments, the outline will be generated, and you will have the opportunity to review it and make edits or refinements, or even go back to the previous step to start over.

Editing the Outline
On the main window of the modal is the outline that EasyAI will follow to generate the content item. Each top-level item is a section that will be turned into a paragraph. Under each section is a talking point that describes what the general content and structure of the paragraph will be.
Click on a section or one of its talking points to edit. Click the trash icon to delete a section or a talking point. Deleting a section deletes all its talking points.
Click on "Click to add a talking point for this paragraph" to add more details to a section.
Scroll down to the bottom of the outline to add a new section.
Use the handles to drag and drop sections or talking points. Note that you can't move a talking point to another section.
Reviewing the Search and Parameters
On the left sidebar of the window, you'll see the parameters you've entered in step one along with the search queries EasyAI used to browse the internet to gather more information about your topic. Click on a search query to view the websites it visited.
Refining the Outline via EasyAI
Still on the left sidebar, under quick refinements, you can select from various presets or add/use a custom instruction to further refine the outline with the help of EasyAI. You will then be presented with a window showing you what was removed, edited, or added. Select Revert to Previous to discard the changes or Keep New Version to save it.

Once the outline is to your satisfaction, click Accept & Continue, and EasyAI will begin writing the content item. It'll take a few seconds to a few minutes for the content item to be finished, depending on your chosen model as well as the complexity and length of the article. Please keep the tab open while the process is underway.
Editing a Content Item with EasyAI Editor
EasyAI Editor will help you improve your existing content items. Use it to help you polish your initial drafts, find grammar errors, improve the flow and clarity of your text, and more.
Access a content item and find the "Edit with AI" button in the actions bar.

Click it, and the EasyAI Editor panel will appear. You can select from various quick presets, provide custom instructions, or use both. If you have a saved custom instruction, select it via the "Select from library" link. You can also save your current custom instruction by clicking the save button. Note that the selected presets are not included in the saved custom instruction.

Select the model you want to use for the edits. Claude Opus models give the strongest writing quality for long-form and high-stakes content but run slower and use more credits, and Claude Sonnet models are faster and cheaper for high-volume or draft work with slightly lower quality. Test both on the same content item to see whether the quality difference matters for you.
After selecting the presets and/or providing custom instructions, click the Generate Suggestions button, the blue button with an arrow pointing upward. EasyAI editor will start thinking and make edits. You can view its chain of thought while waiting. Please keep the browser tab open while the process is underway.
Once the edit is finished, you'll be presented with a summary along with a before and after preview of the changes. If your content item has many fields, you can select which fields to keep and which to discard by toggling the "Apply this change" checkbox for that field.

Once you've reviewed the changes, click "Apply N changes", and the content item will be updated with the new edits in place. The previous version before the edits will be saved under the versions tab named "Before AI edits", so you can always revert to the original or previous version in case you change your mind. So, feel free to continue refining the content item with EasyAI until you're satisfied, since you can always go back to the previous version if needed.
