Narrato shut down in 2026, so there is no price left to look up

What happened to Narrato

Sophia Solanki founded Narrato in 2022. She raised more than $1 million from Airtree Ventures, OfBusiness, and serial entrepreneur Shreesha Ramdas.

On September 16, 2024, Typeface acquired Narrato, at the same time as a second deal, the purchase of Treat, on undisclosed terms. About a year earlier, Typeface had raised $165 million at a $1 billion valuation, and described both deals as a way to enrich its multimodal capabilities and move toward its vision of end-to-end content lifecycle transformation.

Narrato shut down on June 15, 2026. According to the company's own notice, accounts were deactivated, content became unavailable, new subscriptions were no longer accepted, and annual subscribers were due a refund where that applied. Before the shutdown, export options were offered: a ZIP archive of DOCX files from the dashboard, or a structured JSON export through the API. That window closed a long time ago. Nothing indicates the content can still be retrieved if it was not exported before the accounts were deactivated.

What Narrato costs now

The product was shut down completely. If you are looking up what Narrato costs, the direct answer is that there is no live product left to put a price on. There is no working signup page, no working pricing page, and no sales team to call.

What Narrato used to cost

A December 2025 capture of Narrato's own pricing page, with monthly billing selected, shows two published workspace prices. Pro, for small teams or solopreneurs, was $48/month. Business, marked most popular, was $124/month. The page also offered yearly billing at 30% off. The dollar figures below are the monthly rates, which is the toggle the capture has selected.

Narrato pricing in December 2025: Pro at $48 per month and Business at $124 per month, billed monthly
Narrato's pricing page in December 2025, on monthly billing. Pro was $48/month per workspace and Business was $124/month per workspace.

Pro included 4 user seats, with extra seats at $12 per user per month. Business included 6 user seats, with extra seats at $11 per user per month. Guest users were free on both. Business was priced as everything in Pro, plus unlimited AI writing, brand voices, workflow automations, WordPress and Webflow publishing, an API and Zapier, white labeling, and unlimited revision history. Anything beyond those two plans, including Enterprise, was "Get in touch."

Directory listings that still mention Narrato disagree with each other. This page is the figure to use. It is a historical price, from about six months before the shutdown, and it is a workspace price with included seats, not a single per-seat list price.

How Narrato compared with EasyContent

If you were looking at Narrato for its AI writing tools

Narrato offered AI content creation, with workflow and collaboration built around it. That underlying need is still there. EasyContent manages the AI content a team already produces. It does not try to outrun specialist AI writing tools such as Jasper, Copy.ai, or Writesonic on generation speed, and it does not compete on the number of built-in AI tools.

In practice that means: permissions on AI use by account, project, and user; brand style-guide checks on generated drafts; a required human review with a side-by-side version comparison for each AI edit; and a full history of what the AI changed and who approved it. For a team that built AI drafts into an approval process, that is the real gap Narrato's shutdown leaves behind. Every AI-generated draft still has to pass a human review before it is published, with a record of who approved it.

EasyContent prices are in the open

Whatever brought you to Narrato, structured content that has to be written, reviewed, and approved before it is published, EasyContent does that job at a price you can see before you talk to anyone.

Plans start at $47 a month billed annually, with an unlimited number of users from Team up, and a 14-day trial with no credit card. EasyAI already runs on every account, together with the control model described above. Structured templates, Word-style change tracking, and a sitemap-style hierarchy for organizing content by page come standard, along with shareable review links for outside stakeholders who do not need a paid seat just to approve a page. Full pricing is published.

If you saved a Narrato export before the shutdown, EasyContent's migration tool brings it into a structured project. You map titles, content, SEO fields, categories, and folder structure to a template once, and the tool loads the items from there. Narrato's export was a ZIP of DOCX files from the dashboard, or JSON from the API. The migration guide shows that import, and the team will run it with you.
